O desenvolvimento humano na Pedagogia Waldorf: conhecendo o primeiro setênio

Abstract

The human development of children from zero to seven years old, from the perspective of Waldorf Pedagogy, by Rudolf Steiner, is the topic investigated in this course conclusion work. The objective was to understand how the development of the first seven years takes place, exposing its characteristics and how Waldorf schools handle this issue. Research on the subject is essential to understand how the development of children in early childhood is important for the formation of human beings and how it influences their entire existence. The first seven years are decisive for the construction of the human being's identity, considering all its dimensions (physical, mental, moral, spiritual) and constituting, then, as the basis of human education. . The research, of a theoretical nature, was founded by the founder of this Pedagogy, Steiner (2005, 2013), and also by authors such as Lanz (1997, 2005) and Gimael and Aguiar (2013). For this, a brief biography of Steiner was presented, the general foundations of Anthroposophy, a description of Waldorf Pedagogy, and his theory about the seven years. Finally, this work deepened the study in the first seven years, characterizing it, as well as its contribution to the pedagogical work at school and in the training of educators (gardeners). It was concluded that Waldorf Pedagogy and its conception of human development can be a path that leads to a liberating education and individual and social transformation.
