| Summary: | Nesta dissertação apresentamos três teoremas para motivar e auxiliar o aprendizado de polinômios na Educação Básica. O primeiro teorema apresenta um intervalo onde estão contidas as raízes de um polinômio. Outro teorema apresenta uma desigualdade que relaciona as áreas do triângulo tangencial e do retângulo tangencial com a área sobre a curva do polinômio. E por último, mostramos um teorema em que dados quatro polinômios que possuam 0 como uma de suas raízes, teremos 24 possíveis configurações dos gráficos dos mesmos para x próximo da origem, mas duas dessas permutações são impossíveis de se obter. O nosso propósito dessa dissertação é que esses resultados possam servir como aporte para auxiliar no ensino de polinômios na educação básica. |
| Abstract: | In this dissertation we present three theorems to motivate and help the learning of polynomials in Basic Education. The first theorem presents an interval where they are contained as roots of a polynomial. Another theorem presents an inequality that relates the areas of the tangential triangle and the tangential rectangle to the area under the curve of the polynomial. And by, we show a theorem that given four polynomials that have 0 as one of their roots, we have 24 possible configurations of their graphs for x near the origin, but two such permutations are impossible to obtain. Our purpose of this dissertation is that these results served as a contribution to help in the teaching of polynomials in basic education. |
