| Summary: | Este artigo investiga a relação dialética entre cinema, cultura e desenvolvimento, tomando o filme Alexander Nevsky (1938), de Sergei Eisenstein, como objeto central de análise. Fundamentado no arcabouço teórico da Psicologia Histórico-Cultural (PHC), especificamente nas contribuições de Luria, Leontiev e Vigotski, o trabalho discute como a arte cinematográfica opera enquanto ferramenta de mediação das Funções Psicológicas Superiores (FPS), como a percepção e a consciência. A metodologia consiste em uma análise fílmica que articula a linguagem do cinema às categorias de significado social e sentido pessoal. Conclui-se que o cinema, sob esta ótica, transcende o entretenimento e a propaganda, consolidando-se como uma tecnologia pedagógica voltada à superação do individualismo por meio da identidade coletiva. |
| Abstract: | This article investigates the dialectical relationship between cinema, culture, and development, taking Sergei Eisenstein's film Alexander Nevsky (1938) as its central object of analysis. Grounded in the theoretical framework of Cultural-Historical Psychology (CHP), specifically the contributions of Luria, Leontiev, and Vygotsky, the study discusses how cinematographic art operates as a mediation tool for Higher Psychological Functions (HPF), such as perception and consciousness. The methodology consists of a film analysis that articulates the language of cinema with the categories of social meaning and personal sense. It is concluded that cinema, from this perspective, transcends entertainment and propaganda, consolidating itself as a pedagogical technology aimed at overcoming individualism through collective identity. |
