Redes de Mulheres Trabalhadoras: Acesso a Serviço Psicossocial Diante da Violência Sexual Contra Crianças e Adolescentes

Abstract

The sexual violence against children and teenagers is a dramatic reality in the Braziliian society and a serious problem of public health. Neverthless, its consequences do not resctrit themselves to the direct victms. I compreend the protection and the care network are both coupled together and the studies directed exclusively to the health care of the women that experienced sexual violence that happened with their sons and/or loved ones are few. The general objective of this study was to identify and analyse the social support network, closely or institucional, of workingwomen, in which children and teenagers, under their protection, suffered sexual violence and utilize the Specialized Nucleus.of Assistance of Children and Teenagers victms of sexual aggresion (NEVAS) in the city of Uberaba, MG This study adopts a qualitative approach through the aplication of a questionnaire containing fourteen multiple choice and one open question between february and march of 2024. The socio-demographic data were compiled and presented on a descriptive form. The qualitative data was analyzed utilizing the thematic analysis and the Mapas Mínimos da Rede Pessoal designed by the author. The data analysis showed the social support networks are scattered or reduced and there is little or none articulation between the diferent public or private services offered. In addition to that, the lack of the workingwomen social support network dwindles the relationship between these women with the professionals and services. This study also evidenced that the a careful listening of the sexual violence questions is fundamental for these women. In many cases, these women did not posses any family support or do not have any network to share these situations. Therefore, attention and articulated interdisciplinary and intersectoral actions are recommended.
