Considerando a crise climática, é necessário, portanto, repensar a produção arquitetônica atual.
Abstract: The construction industry is responsible for more than one-third of global greenhouse gas emissions. In Brazil, the world’s sixth-largest emitter of GHGs, this sector accounts for approximately 27% of emissions. Given the climate crisis, it is therefore necessary to rethink current architectural production. Thus, this final thesis project is based on the development of a Design for Disassembly, a circular architectural design that does not perpetuate the destruction and depletion of natural resources. By maximizing the reuse of materials, the project addresses the needs of a community center for its own headquarters in the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. The project resulted in a theoretical analysis of the relationship between architecture, the climate emergency, and the circular economy; an architectural design for (dis)assembly; a catalog of reusable elements; and a manual for assembling and disassembling the project. It can be concluded that, in the global context of the climate emergency, the development of environmentally responsible architecture based on circularity is essential and unquestionable.
