O impacto das tecnologias digitais na formação e subjetividade do indivíduo contemporâneo

Abstract

This work is justified by the urgent need to critically understand the impacts that the achievement society, intensified by digital technologies, exerts on the processes of formation, communication, and construction of the subjectivity of the contemporary individual. We live in a scenario marked by constant acceleration, hyper-exposure, and self-exploitation, in which education and communication, instead of acting as instruments of emancipation, end up being captured by the neoliberal logic of productivity, efficiency, and performance. This dynamic generates not only physical exhaustion but, above all, a psychological and existential malaise, which is expressed in the increase in cases of anxiety, depression, and burnout—symptoms directly associated with the logic of excess analyzed by Byung-Chul Han in The Burnout Society. Thus, this work seeks to reflect on how this reality impacts human subjectivity, questioning current educational and communicational models and proposing a return to a more critical, reflective, and human perspective in the face of the demands of a society dominated by the tyranny of positivity and performance.
