Memorial para promoção de professor titular na carreira do magistério superior

Abstract

In this Memorial, I present the most relevant facts of my life journey and of my academic and professional career, from the initial stages of my education to my current role as a professor and researcher at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). In particular, my academic trajectory has been built in an integrated manner across the three dimensions that structure university teaching — education, research, and outreach — complemented by academic management and health care activities, areas in which I have always sought to act with dedication and commitment. I highlight, in particular, my research in Chrononutrition, a field that has become central to my scientific work and has shaped much of my academic contributions. Along this path, I describe the development of projects, the consolidation of the CRONUTRI research group and the consequent training of human resources, as well as the national and international collaborations and resulting scientific production. It was at UFU that this entire process became possible, where I found the space to design projects, produce knowledge, and reaffirm my commitment to public education. This Memorial therefore synthesizes 16 years of continuous work at the School of Medicine at UFU, within the Undergraduate Program in Nutrition and the Graduate Program in Health Sciences.
