O ambiente hospitalar suficientemente bom: um relato de experiência sobre o cuidado humanizado

Abstract

This paper focuses on an outreach practice aimed to providing a sensitive and welcoming space for listening to users of the Banco de Leite Humano (BLH) who came to the Hospital de Clínicas of the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (HC-UFU) seeking support related to breastfeeding. Considering the exchanges with the selected audience and based on the analysis of the materials, this report aims to share the experiences lived in an extension project, presenting observations on possible forms of care in a hospital context, grounded in the perspectives brought by the involved audience, with an emphasis on the reported experiences in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The results address both the technical and subtle aspects that can compose a broadened, comprehensive, and humanized care approach. Thus, the space of the extension program seems to strengthen the exchanges between community and university, contributing to building a refined perspective in psychoanalytic practice within the health field by enriching the care offered in this environment.
