Sentimentum High: construção de universo narrativo e design de personagens como ferramentas para o desenvolvimento de Fashion Dolls

Abstract

This paper proposes the development of an original collection of fashion dolls set within the fictional narrative universe of Sentimentum High, aiming to stimulate the emotional intelligence of children and adolescents while appealing to adult collectors. The Double Diamond methodology was adapted to guide the process, from market research and analysis to the creation of the narrative universe, character design, and the handcrafted production of a mockup of the character Roxxie. The project explored the symbolic representation of human feelings through distinct characters, integrated into a metaphorical school environment. The deliver stage materialized in the Roxxie mockup, encompassing the 3D printing of the body, the development of clothing and accessories with exclusive prints, detailed painting, and wig making. The final considerations highlight the innovative potential of Sentimentum High in offering a playful experience that values emotional diversity and representativeness, with commercial potential in the fashion doll market.
