Propostas pedagógicas de autorrepresentação em Artes Visuais: relação do eu e do outro no e com o mundo

Abstract

The following final paper, Pedagogical proposals for self-representation in Visual Arts: the relationship between the self and the other in and with the world, presents six relationships (activities) for preparing lessons based on the theme of self-representation. Revisiting some artists and their works through a brief historical overview, followed by reflections on inclusive education in Brazil, the work condenses the desires of a Visual Arts graduate, due to his proximity to the theme of portraits with his curiosity about the process of inclusion and respect for diversity, into a didactic material entitled Eu por diferentes relações: propostas de autorrepresentação. Based on a bibliographical survey, the author uses his experiences as a support professional in a basic education school in Uberlândia, supported by authors such as Orlando da Rosa Faria, Paulo Freire and Ana Mae Barbosa, to build and defend the importance of self-representation exercises as a means of achieving an inclusive environment and respect in the visual arts.
