| Summary: | Neste trabalho, realizamos um estudo aprofundado sobre os semigrupos numéricos, explorando tanto suas propriedades fundamentais quanto outros conceitos importantes. Valemo-nos amplamente da teoria fundamental para derivar resultados menos intuitivos e de maior complexidade. Concentramos nosso estudo em uma classe específica de semigrupos numéricos: aqueles com dimensão de imersão igual a 3. Para isso, examinamos aspectos relevantes da teoria, incluindo monoides livres, apresentações de semigrupos numéricos, colagem de semigrupos numéricos e semigrupos numéricos livres, entre outros temas essenciais. Além disso, dedicamo-nos ao estudo dos semigrupos numéricos perfeitos, analisando algumas de suas propriedades e suas interações com outras propriedades. |
| Abstract: | In this work, we conduct an in-depth study of numerical semigroups, exploring both their fundamental properties and other important concepts. We extensively rely on basic theory to derive less intuitive and more complex results. We focus our research on a specific class of numerical semigroups: those with embedding dimension equal to 3. To this end, we examine relevant aspects of the theory, including free monoids, presentations of numerical semigroups, gluing of numerical semigroups, and free numerical semigroups, among other essential topics. Furthermore, we dedicate ourselves to the study of perfect numerical semigroups, analyzing some of their properties and their interactions with other properties. |
