A musa poética: uma análise dos poemas “a minha musa”, de gonçalves dias, e “uma tentativa de retratá-la”, de carlito azevedo

Abstract

With the following academic work, we seek to analyze the presence by the passing through and the permanence of the concept of poetic Muse in two poems: “A Minha Musa”, by Gonçalves Dias (2009), and “Uma tentativa de retratá-la”, by Carlito Azevedo (2009). For that purpose, we are going to pass through the poetic concept in it’s evidence in the antique and it’s recurrence through time, by the manner how it was comprehended and applied by the poets before contemporary. With the support of the studies of Verdelho (2012), Silva (2015), Oliveira (2026), Moreira (2018) and Mello (2023), we are going to discuss the concept of the Muse in it’s transformations and definitions. Retaking it’s origins in mythology and popular faith to comprehend it’s mobilizations in the classics, making it possible for the upcoming analysis. In addition to notice it when invoked in big anachronistic poetry works like Odisseia, by Homero, and The Lusiads, by Camões. Lastly, this academic work seeks, by the analyzing of the poetic Muse concept inside “A Minha Musa” and “Uma tentativa de retratá-la”, compare, verify and retake the concept of the poetic Muse in the artistic productions throughout the centuries until, at the end, we find it in the contemporary and modern poetry.
