| Summary: | A presente pesquisa de natureza documental teve como objetivo analisar a produção acadêmica brasileira sobre o tema circo vinculada aos programas de pós-graduação strictu sensu, por meio do mapeamento das dissertações e teses publicadas entre os anos de 2012 e 2022. Dentre os objetivos específicos: mapear o ápice (período) da produção de conhecimento sobre o tema circo; indicando a representatividade das produções sobre o circo na escola; apontar os estados brasileiros que mais produziram; identificar as Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) de maior destaque na produção acadêmica sobre o circo, além dos/os orientadores/as com maior visibilidade. Os achados da pesquisa sugerem que o ápice da produção ocorreu em 2020, com que um número reduzido de pesquisa tematizou a escola e que a região brasileira de maior destaque foi a Sudeste. |
| Abstract: | The present research work aimed to analyze the Brazilian academic production on the theme of circus linked to strictu sensu graduate programs, through the mapping of dissertations and theses published between the years 2012 and 2022. Among the specific objectives: to map the apex (period) of the production of knowledge on the circus theme; indicating the representativeness of the productions about the circus in the school; point out the Brazilian states that produced the most; identify the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with the greatest prominence in the academic production on the circus, in addition to the supervisors with greater visibility. The findings of the research suggest that the peak of production occurred in 2020, that a small number of research thematized the school and that the most prominent Brazilian region was the Southeast. |
