Violência contra as mulheres negras: Uma análise intersecional acerca das categorias raça e gênero

Abstract

This article deals with the issue of violence against black women as a historical issue having as a starting point the formation of the identity of black women. This work aims to present a reflection that involves the main theoretical discussions about race and gender from a decolonial view to the detriment of patriarchal sovereignty, presenting how racism interferes with gender violence. The research presents a bibliographic survey through reading and analysis of the main authors that discusses the intersectionality between racism and sexism in social relations, as well as an analysis of the contributions of law 11.340/2006, Maria da Penha Law and data on violence domestic. In this sense, we understand that through the social control promoted by the state, it does not correspond to the reality of black women in the face of the distance from femininity that are characteristics attributed to white women, resulting in a difficulty in adapting an intersectional reading when the subject is violence.
