Abstract

This course completion research originates from my own creative process, which establishes a connection with the past through affectivity, and is marked by physical and sensory memories, making it possible to find a representation or mapping, here designated as "primary images", between long-term memory, that is, those remote memories and emotions, and my current production. Throughout the process, the possibilities of carrying out this mapping proved to be limited due to time (current period for this study), technical and financial resources. To make the work feasible, it was decided to use easily accessible devices, such as biometric sensors, which showed consistency between internal and external processes. Using the data obtained and establishing a connection with authors from the three areas of my interest, arts, science and technology, which are the basis for its development. The monograph, as well as the works created here, will be guided by affective axes, thus referenced by the memories of the days when the memories were driven by the convictions of an experience marked by affection. In short, the compositions are possible representations of what may be the “primary images”, this connection with the internal materialized through codes and data, seeking this representation of before thinking through external actions.
