A produção de materiais didáticos e sequência didática aplicada ao conhecimento geomorfológico no Ensino Médio

Abstract

At all times, education presents us with different challenges and gaining the attention and interest of students becomes increasingly complex. It is observed that the use of various teaching materials, combined with the use of textbooks, offers the student and teacher a better teaching and learning process. After reading about the different methodologies and the elaboration of teaching materials, we realized that practical and playful classes place the student at the center of the teaching process and make him interested in knowledge, being a participating agent in the process of building his knowledge. Thus, the general objective of this research was to analyze the content focused on the theme "Geomorphology" in the textbook that is used in high school at school Estadual Antonio Souza Martins, from this analysis, prepare a didactic sequence using playful-pedagogical teaching materials, focused on the theme “Forms of Reliefs, processes and their representations”. Therefore, the methodological procedures were: A) Bibliographic survey on the topic investigated; B) Research on recreational and educational activities on relief; C) structuring of a didactic sequence, working with the use of the textbook, the playful pedagogical teaching materials and field work, D) quantitative and qualitative analysis of the textbook. Thus, the analysis of the textbook showed that it is an important material for the act of teaching in High School, however it cannot be used as a single teaching material, it was found that the analyzed book has an adequate content with regard to the concepts and theories, except that it still indirectly expresses the dichotomy of Geography, when separating the dynamics of society and nature when addressing the physical content. It was also possible to verify at the time of the literature review that DS is a very important strategy for teachers, as well-planned classes are essential to involve the student and expand the repertoire of geomorphological knowledge. The use of teaching materials linked to recreational activities end up arousing interest and curiosity about the theme relief, since it is an abstract concept. Each of the didactic materials and SD has the function of helping teaching practice and stimulating students' curiosity, in addition to providing a better absorption of such abstract content as Geomorphology.
