| Summary: | Os anos que se seguiram pós os desequilíbrios fiscais de 2015 impuseram forte impacto às finanças públicas dos municípios de todo o Brasil, a dificuldade para fechar as contas e honrar com compromissos básicos como pagamento de funcionários virou rotina em grande parte dos municípios e em Uberlândia a realidade não foi diferente. A pesquisa busca então dimensionar, se utilizando das próprias contas municipais, o quão severo foi o efeito da crise financeira em um município considerado rico pelos índices do Brasil, e porque os impactos foram sentidos de modo tão severo em áreas tão sensíveis à população como um todo, a exemplo saúde, infraestrutura urbana e funcionalismo público, mesmo o município sendo suficientemente grande e com dinâmica econômica forte o suficiente para ser considerada a principal zona de influência de toda a região do Triângulo Mineiro. |
| Abstract: | The years that followed after the fiscal imbalances of 2015 imposed a strong impact on the public finances of municipalities across Brazil, the difficulty to close accounts and honor basic commitments such as paying employees became routine in most municipalities and in Uberlândia the reality was no different. The research then seeks to measure, using the municipal accounts themselves, how severe the effect of the financial crisis was in a municipality considered rich by Brazil's indices, and why the impacts were felt so severely in areas as sensitive to the population as a as a whole, such as health, urban infrastructure and public service, even though the municipality is large enough and has an economic dynamic strong enough to be considered the main area of influence for the entire region of the Triângulo Mineiro. |
