Hospital de Trauma do Triângulo Mineiro

Abstract

The hospital environments are commonly associated with spaces with rigid technical standards and few shape variation, however in the contemporary technological context these paradigms are being questioned because many facilities have emerged, in order to obtain precise answers related to important issues to the health area, such as comfort levels, materials properties and project goals. From this context the present research aims to investigate strategies to compromise architecture and contemporary techniques in order to answer historical optimization issues of buildings, meeting the demands of society for quality spaces and meet broadly the medical needs, seeking projective results they are functional, with ways that are not limited to tightening proposed by the standard, still rather serving them, encompassing energy efficiency and contact with nature. The architectural proposal of this work, the Trauma Hospital of Triangulo Mineiro, seek leading the users to one treatment of injuries and rehabilitations that leave them fully prepared to go through these moments of physical debilitations that previously did not exist, being such a significant change in their lives.
