Tornar-se herdeiro: um panorama sobre herança e transmissão psíquica geracional

Abstract

This work has as general objective to carry out a theoretical revision on the subject of the transmission and the psychic inheritance between the generations, in the intergenerational and transgenerational modalities; and, as a consequence, the specific objective is to identify convergent contents in the researched scientific literature, which enables the organization and analysis of the data on the issue of psychic transmission and trauma in Freudian thought. It is a psychoanalytic research, in which the material selected for study was submitted to content analysis, through a comparative work between Freud's texts and placed in dialogue with commentators of the Freudian work that deal with the theme of psychic transmission and traumatism , obtained from a bibliographical narrative review. The results showed that the phenomenon occurs through unconscious psychic processes and the appropriation of the inheritance received by the transmission gives an environment to think about the way the psychism is organized, as each subject puts himself in his own history. It is remarkable how the negative mode of transmission is privileged, being intimacy linked with the issue of traumatism in Freudian metapsychology. The intergenerational mode of transmission points to the possibility of constructing new meanings from the content received, composing a unique way of existence.
