| Summary: | As empresas e indústrias têm como principal foco de diminuição de custos de operação a energia elétrica. Cada vez mais consumidores buscam projetos que viabilizem tal redução de gastos sendo a migração para o mercado livre de energia, um dos projetos mais utilizados. Assim, durante o trabalho, será apresentado o panorama e mudanças no Sistema Elétrico Brasileiro, salientando a estrutura do sistema e seus agentes, que fizeram com que em 2004 surgisse a figura do Consumidor Livre de Energia, que tem o direito de adquirir energia diretamente de comercializadores e geradores. O surgimento deste novo mercado fez com que além da diminuição do custo de energia para os consumidores, fomentasse o consumo de energia elétrica provinda de fontes alternativas de energia. Assim sendo, de forma a mostrar as possíveis vantagens da migração do mercado cativo para o mercado livre de energia elétrica, este trabalho apresenta uma síntese sobre o tema e realiza um estudo de caso para ilustrar os impactos e a viabilidade econômica de tal migração. |
| Abstract: | Companies and industries have as main focus the reduction of operating costs, electric energy. The search for projects that allow such reduction of expenses is increasing, and the migration to the free energy market, is one of the most used projects. Thus, during the work, the panorama and changes in the Brazilian Electrical System will be presented, highlighting the structure of the system and its agents, which led to the appearance of the Free Energy Consumer in 2004, which has the right to acquire energy directly from traders and generators. The emergence of this new market has meant that in addition to reducing the cost of energy for consumers, it encouraged the consumption of electricity from alternative sources of energy. Thus, in order to show the possible advantages of the migration from the captive market to the free market of electric energy, this paper presents a synthesis on the subject and carries out a case study to illustrate the impacts and economic viability of such migration. |
