Abstract

Over the years, information has become increasingly fast, with the need to have programs and systems able to follow all this evolution, the Information System emerges as a great challenge in this scenario, seeks to ensure agility and quality for Professionals from all areas including health. The use of information in the health area is very important, its evolution has saved lives and provided improvements, in dentistry it is no different, processes that were previously time-consuming and time-consuming, are now optimized and facilitate patient care avoiding treatments late. The objective of this study is to evaluate the importance of the use of technology and smartphones by students, teachers and dentists, as an instrument to assist patients in their understanding, as well as to analyze if technological advances actually contribute to or harm dental professionals in their Calls. It is concluded that the use of smartphones together with the dental area is an important tool capable of facilitating patient care and also speeding up care for dentists who use this tool.
