A mãe filicida: Catástrofe da morte na família

Abstract

The present study aims to analyze the affective impasses of the process of subjectivation of a filicidal mother. Methodologically the study was supported by the psychoanalytic theory that considers the psychic subject moved by desire and its unconscious structure. Initially a contact was made with a hospital psychologist on a case of filicide, followed by the study of documents related to the case, such as the procedural records and the medical records of the research subject. Next, an interview was conducted with Diná, the filicidal mother, who accepted the invitation after the telephone contact. The main findings touch on desire and conflict with motherhood. There was also a symbiotic relationship between mother and dead child, in an affective imbrication in which care and death reaffirm the order of helplessness. It was possible to analyze, from transferential elements, the way in which Diná is organized in the loop, with delirious traits seeming to dominate the discursive field.
