Resumo
Este estudo aborda o espaço urbano como campo aberto a criações poéticas.
Reúne um conjunto de ações práticas e propostas realizadas segundo um
olhar afetivo, crítico e subjetivo aos espaços das cidades de Uberlândia e
Patos de Minas, em Minas Gerais. As práticas foram denominadas arte
urbana e ambiental , pois envolvem ações em espaços escolhidos através de
uma vivência cotidiana, enfatizando aspectos do contexto urbano e ambiental.
A cidade e a natureza são a matéria da pesquisa e, simultaneamente, projeto
poético. Nesses ambientes, estabelecem-se relações com lugares, percursos
e deslocamentos, assim como o provável encontro com o outro . A partir das
ações práticas, foi possível identificar e refletir sobre aspectos relevantes das
relações entre arte, cidade e natureza. As ações se sustentam em uma
abordagem analítica, reflexiva e metodológica das discussões sobre o
processo de criação, o ato de caminhar, o deslocamento, o contexto de
interesse urbano e ambiental e sobre as referências teóricas e artísticas a fim
de contribuir para ampliar as discussões na arte contemporânea.
Abstract
This study addresses the urban space as an open field for the artistic creation.
It brings together a set of practical actions and proposals whose making
followed an affective, critical and subjective gaze to the spaces of the cities of
Uberlandia and Patos de Minas, in the state of Minas Gerais. Called Urban
and Environmental Art, these practical actions took place in areas chosen
accordingly to daily experiences of living in the city and with an emphasis on
aspects of urban and environmental context. Therefore, city and nature are
the subject matter of a research and simultaneously its artistic project. In these
environments, there re relationships with places, routes and displacements as
well as the likely encounter with the other. These practical actions made
possible not only to identify relevant aspects of the relations between art, cities
and nature but also to think of them. They were supported by an analytical,
reflective and methodological approach of discussions on the creation
process, the act of walking, the displacement, the context of urban and
environmental interest, and on the theoretical and artistic references as way of
broadening the critical thinking in contemporary art.
