Summary:	O presente trabalho tem como objeto o estudo do legal design como área do saber jurídico que relaciona direito, tecnologia e design. Nesse sentido faz uma digressão exemplificativa sobre diversos setores que têm sido afetados por mudanças tecnológicas, ressaltando a emergência de novas profissões jurídicas, bem como de novas formas de lidar com o Direito. Pautando-se dentro de uma perspectiva crítica, busca demonstrar, ainda, como a revolução digital não é, por si mesma, capaz de produzir uma maior democratização do direito, sendo, para tanto necessária uma transformação cultural. Essa transformação se dá a partir da articulação do direito como tecnologia constituída pela linguagem e, nesse sentido, o trabalho apresenta o legal design como caminho para a transformação do saber jurídico em um saber condizente com as necessidades estipuladas pela sociedade. O trabalho, ainda, faz uma digressão sobre normativas brasileiras relacionadas ao legal design e à visual law. Bem como realiza uma análise acerca das ações promovidas pelo Lab. de Direito e Design da Universidade de Stanford.
Abstract:	The present work has as its object the study of legal design as an area of legal knowledge that relates law, technology and design. In this sense, it makes an exemplary digression on several sectors that have been affected by technological changes, highlighting the emergence of new legal professions, as well as new ways of dealing with the Law. Based on a critical perspective, it also seeks to demonstrate how the digital revolution is not, by itself, capable of producing a greater democratization of law, which requires a cultural transformation. This transformation takes place from the articulation of law as a technology constituted by language and, in this sense, the work presents the legal design as a way to transform legal knowledge into knowledge consistent with the needs stipulated by society. The work also digresses on Brazilian regulations related to legal design and visual law. As well as performs an analysis about the actions promoted by the Law and Design Lab at Stanford University.
