| Summary: | O presente trabalho teve como objetivo analisar de que maneira a literatura pode contribuir para a elaboração do luto na infância diante da perda dos avós, tomando como objeto de análise a obra A avó adormecida, de Roberto Parmeggiani (2023). Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, fundamentado na Psicologia Histórico-Cultural, especialmente Psicologia da Arte, de Vigotski, articulado às discussões de Antonio Candido. O trabalho busca compreender como os elementos narrativos e visuais da obra favorecem a construção simbólica da experiência de perda na infância, abordando o adoecimento, a morte e a permanência dos vínculos de forma sensível e acessível à criança. Acredita-se que a literatura ilustrada pode atuar como mediadora na organização emocional do luto, possibilitando a expressão de sentimentos, a elaboração simbólica da ausência e a ressignificação da perda, a partir da potência da arte e da literatura como uma possibilidade de humanização diante das experiências de morte e luto. |
| Abstract: | This study aimed to analyze how literature may contribute to the elaboration of grief in childhood following the loss of grandparents, using A avó adormecida (2023), by Roberto Parmeggiani, as the object of analysis. This is a qualitative study grounded in Cultural-Historical Psychology — specifically Vygotsky's Psychology of Art-and articulated with the discussions of Antonio Candido. The study seeks to understand how the narrative and visual elements of the work contribute to the symbolic construction of the experience of loss in childhood, addressing illness, death, and the continuity of bonds in a sensitive and accessible way for children. It is believed that illustrated literature may act as a mediator in the emotional organization of grief, enabling the expression of feelings, the symbolic elaboration of absence, and the resignification of loss, based on the potential of art and literature as a possibility for humanization in the face of experiences of death and grief. |
