| Abstract: | This document contains some of my most significant memories, which have shaped the course of my academic development. I have avoided a personal tone whenever possible. Its submission to the Instituto de Letras e Linguística at the Federal University of Uberlândia is a partial requirement for promotion from the rank of Associate Professor IV to Full Professor in the Higher Education Teaching Career. It also presents important aspects of my career as a professor of higher education at the aforementioned institute. |
