Summary:	A agricultura de precisão tem se consolidado como uma importante ferramenta no manejo agrícola, permitindo maior eficiência produtiva, redução de custos e sustentabilidade ambiental. Nesse contexto, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a relação entre o Índice de Vegetação por Diferença Normalizada (NDVI) e a produtividade do café arábica (Coffea arabica L.). O estudo foi conduzido em uma área irrigada de café, cultivar Topázio, de 27 ha, localizada no município de Indianópolis–MG, utilizando uma grade amostral composta por 50 pontos georreferenciados. A produtividade foi determinada por meio da colheita manual de plantas selecionadas em cada ponto, com posterior secagem e beneficiamento. Foram obtidos índices NDVI, a partir de imagens do satélite Planet, abrangendo o período de agosto de 2023 a julho de 2024. Os dados foram analisados estatisticamente por meio de análise descritiva e correlação linear de Pearson, além da interpolação espacial por krigagem para geração de mapas de produtividade. Observou-se a maior correlação positiva entre o NDVI obtido em dezembro de 2023 e a produtividade final, enquanto o NDVI obtido em março de 2024 apresentou correlação negativa, refletindo diferenças fisiológicas da cultura ao longo do ciclo. Conclui-se que o NDVI pode ser utilizado como ferramenta auxiliar na estimativa da produtividade do cafeeiro, desde que considerada a época de aquisição das imagens, sendo mais eficiente em períodos de maior atividade vegetativa.
Abstract:	Precision agriculture has become an important tool in modern farming, enabling increased productivity, cost reduction, and environmental sustainability. In this context, this study aimed to evaluate the relationship between the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and the productivity of Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica L.). The research was conducted in a cultivar coffee irrigated area of approximately 27 ha, located in the municipality of Indianópolis, Minas Gerais, Brazil, using a sampling grid composed of 50 georeferenced points. Productivity was determined through manual harvesting of selected plants at each point, followed by drying and processing. NDVI indices were obtained from Planet satellite images, covering the period from August 2023 to July 2024. The data were statistically analyzed using descriptive analysis and Pearson's linear correlation, as well as spatial interpolation by kriging to generate productivity maps. A moderate positive correlation was observed between NDVI obtained in December 2023 and final coffee productivity, whereas NDVI from March 2024 showed a negative correlation, reflecting physiological differences of the crop throughout its growth cycle. It is concluded that NDVI can be used as an auxiliary tool for estimating coffee productivity, provided that the timing of image acquisition is considered, with greater efficiency during periods of higher vegetative activity.
