| Summary: | Alcançado o tempo necessário e previsto no Plano de Carreiras e Cargos do Magistério Federal (especialmente a Lei Federal Nº 12.722, de 28 de Dezembro de 2012), bem como cumpridos os requisitos definidos pela legislação interna da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (Resolução nº 03/2017-CONDIR/UFU - Progressão e promoção docente) para o acesso à condição de Professor Titular do Magistério Federal, este Memorial apresenta minha uma trajetória como professor do quadro efetivo, no atual Instituto de Geografia, Geociências e Saúde Coletiva da UFU, Campus Uberlândia, nestes pouco mais de 17 anos de atuação (2008-2025), bem como situações e elementos prévios que permitem de algum modo registrar opções e caminhos tomados, que fundamentalmente marcaram (e marcam até hoje) minhas práticas, posturas e experiências em torno de minha formação em Geografia, e assim também minhas atividades de docência, pesquisa, extensão e produção intelectual realizadas neste tempo. |
| Abstract: | After reaching the required period established by the Federal Teaching Career and Position Plan (particularly Law No. 12,722 of December 28, 2012/ Brazil), as well as fulfilling the requirements defined by the internal regulations of the Federal University of Uberlândia/Brazil (Resolution No. 03/2017-CONDIR/UFU – Faculty Promotion and Progression), for accession to the rank of Full Professor in the Federal Higher Education system, this Memorial presents my professional trajectory as a tenured faculty member in the current Institute of Geography, Geosciences and Public Health at UFU, Uberlândia Campus. It covers a little more than 17 years of academic activity (2008–2025), in addition to highlighting previous situations and elements that, in different ways, shaped the decisions and paths taken throughout my career. These aspects have profoundly influenced (and continue to influence) my practices, academic stances, and experiences related to my training in Geography, as well as my teaching pratices, research, extension, and intellectual production during this period. |
