| Summary: | Este estudo descreve a vivência de alunos do curso de enfermagem da UFU ao ministrar treinamentos de primeiros socorros em instituições de ensino públicas e privadas, durante o período de 2023 a 2024. As ações foram realizadas em três momentos: evento acadêmico,estágio supervisionado e projeto de extensão, empregando três abordagens metodológicas: “teoria seguida da prática”, “teórico-prático com temas em sequência” e “teórico-prática em estandes”. O relato detalha o progresso das estratégias de ensino, a importância e o processo das adaptações feitas para incluir estudantes com deficiência, as percepções e os aprendizados dos discentes, bem como os desafios e as facilidades encontrados. Notou-se que a abordagem "teórico-prática em estandes" gerou maior envolvimento, acessibilidade e eficácia no aprendizado, o que destacou a relevância da educação em saúde e primeiros socorros para o ambiente escolar e para a formação do enfermeiro-educador. |
| Abstract: | This study describes the experience of nursing students from the Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU) delivering first aid training at public and private educational institutions from 2023 to 2024. The activities were conducted in three contexts: an academic event, a supervised internship, and an outreach project, employing three methodological approaches: "theory followed by practice," "theoretical-practical with sequential topics," and "theoretical-practical in teaching stations."The report details the evolution of teaching strategies, the importance and process of adaptations made to include students with disabilities, the perceptions and learning outcomes of nursing students, as well as the challenges and facilitators encountered. The "theoretical-practical in teaching stations" approach generated greater engagement, accessibility, and learning effectiveness, highlighting the relevance of health and first aid education for the school environment and for the development of nurse educators. |
