A importância da educação especial e da educação inclusiva

Abstract

Special education and inclusive education are fundamental for building a more just and equitable society. This article analyzes the importance of these approaches, highlighting their historical evolution, normative milestones, and current challenges for the implementation of a truly inclusive educational system. Through a literature review, the role of teacher training and adapted pedagogical practices in ensuring the full participation and integral development of all students is discussed. It is concluded that, although significant advances have been made, there are still obstacles to be overcome, such as the lack of adequate infrastructure, the shortage of specialized professionals, and the need for greater social awareness. Inclusive education is a right for all and a duty of society, and its full implementation is essential for building a more inclusive and humane future.
