O seu a seu tempo, de Luiza Neto Jorge: tempo, existência e transfusões

Abstract

This study revolves around the poetic work of Luiza Neto Jorge based on the analysis of “O seu a seu tempo”, published on the homonymous book. We methodologically adopt a research of analytical and qualitative approach through the reflection about time, existence transfusions, namely the poetic making. In that sense, we put in perspective the context of the Geração 61 in Portugal, which has as characteristics existentialism and metapoetry, moreover, we will approach female authorship in this sociocultural context. Besides, we will track Luiza Neto Jorge´s poetry making based on the considerations of Jean-Luc Nancy in “To make, poetry” in order to gaze at the existentialism and how it is related to poetry and the act of writing a poem. Furthermore, we will consider Octavio Paz´s reflections, in “O arco e a Lira” to comprehend better the aspect of transfusions. We will also use some concepts that connect poetry and philosophy by María Zambrano in “Philosophy and Poetry” in order to link the three interpretative paths chosen for the analysis, which demarcate our interdisciplinary approach.
