Abstract: The present monograph aims to correlate, through a case study in an food multinational company, the concepts of autonomous maintenance, founded on the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodology, applied to Industry 4.0, with the use of digital tools in a manufacturing environment and the assurance of the reliability of maintenance processes, focusing on RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) and its relationship with TMC (Total Manufacturing Cost). To achieve this goal, a methodology that includes a literature review and the development of a tool in Power Apps©, was employed. The literature review gathered information about the current state of the industry in Brazil and the global evolution of this area. The role of autonomous maintenance within TPM and how Reliability-Centered Maintenance contributes to the culture of "zero losses," resulting in global improvements, was also explored. RCM, through its systematic strategy of identifying and prioritizing potential failures, complements TPM's autonomous maintenance, allowing a more effective management of resources allocated to maintenance. The development of the tool in Power Apps© allowed for the input of data into the SAP© system, ensuring relevant information for maintenance reliability and the generation of countermeasures in the company analyzed. From the results, it was possible to relate how new technologies and digital tools can be allied to the process of eliminating failures in the manufacturing environment, considering the application of RCM concepts, TPM-based autonomous maintenance, and its relationship with the reduction of TMC. The main results of this study include the consolidation of a consistent database that favors the continuous improvement of failure analyses, including the use of RCM to prioritize and address these failures. The study also generated recommendations for the development of analysis tools based on the failure criteria contained in the Power Apps© database. Additionally, the research provided the ability to calculate reliability at the level of individual components of the equipment analyzed. The work demonstrated how the application of these concepts can positively impact the reduction of TMC.
