| Summary: | Os cães politraumatizados apresentam múltiplas lesões, sendo que estas em conjunto ou isoladas podem colocar em risco a vida desses animais. O controle da dor desses animais é um desafio constante na rotina do médico veterinário na clínica, cirurgia e anestesiologia de pequenos animais. Sabe-se que a dor pode gerar prejuízos para diversas funções orgânicas e dificultar o processo de recuperação desses pacientes. Dessa forma, esse trabalho tem como objetivo elaborar uma revisão de literatura sobre a analgesia de cães politraumatizados, comparando as diferentes técnicas descritas e auxiliando o médico veterinário na escolha do melhor protocolo terapêutico. |
| Abstract: | Dogs with multiple traumas present with various injuries, and these injuries, either collectively or individually, may endanger their lives. Pain control in these animals is a constant challenge for veterinarians in small animal clinics, surgery, and anesthesia. It is known that pain can cause harm to various organic functions and hinder the recovery process of these patients. Therefore, the aim of this work is to develop a literature review on analgesia in dogs with multiple traumas, comparing the different techniques described and assisting the veterinarian in choosing the best therapeutic protocol. |
