Summary:	Trata-se da narrativa das trajetórias de inúmeros sujeitos que estiveram internados no Sanatório Espírita de Uberlândia (MG). A pesquisa poderia versar apenas sobre o Sanatório em si: os dilemas por trás de sua construção, a formação da ideia de sua necessidade para o corpo social, sua construção arquitetônica, a constituição do seu corpo de funcionários, as diversas experiências individuais que foram efetivamente travadas ali, etc. O trabalho, apenas versando sobre o edifício e tudo que o envolve (mas circunscrito apenas a ele) já seria por si só um trabalho riquíssimo e nos permitiria desvendar alguns dos mistérios relacionados à loucura e ao tratamento que a sociedade dispensava aos sujeitos que eram considerados “loucos”.
Abstract:	This is the narrative of the trajectories of countless subjects who were hospitalized in the Spiritist Sanatorium of Uberlândia (MG). The research could only be about the Sanatorium in itself: the dilemmas behind its construction, the formation of the idea of its necessity for the body social structure, its architectural construction, the constitution of its staff, the various individual experiences that were actually carried out there, etc. The work, just saying on the building and everything that surrounds it (but limited only to it) would in itself be a very rich work and would allow us to unravel some of the mysteries related to madness and treatment that society gave to subjects who were considered “crazy”.
