| Summary: | O seguinte artigo aborda a produtividade no Brasil durante o período de 1950 a 2018, e com foco em 2010 a 2018 a fim de investigar o impacto da crise econômica nessa variável-chave. A pesquisa oferece uma análise aprofundada do cenário econômico brasileiro durante esses anos, destacando as mudanças na produtividade e como foram influenciadas pelos eventos de crise. A tese se propõe a examinar a literatura econômica relevante sobre o tema, buscando compreender as teorias, modelos e análises anteriores que tratam da relação entre crescimento econômico e da produtividade, além de investigar especificamente as peculiaridades do contexto brasileiro. Para tal foram revisados artigos da literatura econômica sobre produtividade e uma análise acerca dos dados World Bank sobre produtividade para analisar os impactos da crise. |
| Abstract: | The following article addresses productivity in Brazil from 1950 to 2018, with a focus on the period from 2010 to 2018 to investigate the impact of the economic crisis on this key variable. The research provides an in-depth analysis of the Brazilian economic scenario during these years, highlighting changes in productivity and how they were influenced by crisis events. The thesis aims to examine relevant economic literature on the subject, seeking to understand theories, models, and previous analyses that deal with the relationship between economic growth and productivity, while specifically investigating the peculiarities of the Brazilian context. To achieve this, articles from economic literature on productivity were reviewed, and an analysis of World Bank data on productivity was conducted to assess the impacts of the crisis. |
