| Summary: | Este artigo se dedica a refletir sobre o prolongamento da adolescência, ou adolescência estendida. Para isto, começamos com uma pesquisa sobre o surgimento da formação cultural da adolescência a partir do século XVIII. Em seguida investigamos brevemente a adolescência para após isto adentrarmos na chamada adolescência estendida, que é nosso objeto de pesquisa e é trabalhado por nós, a partir da visão de alguns autores acerca de possíveis fatores que poderiam estar relacionados com o prolongamento da adolescência a partir de uma perspectiva biopsicossocial, além de trazermos também alguns fatores sociais que nós consideramos que possam estar relacionados com este fenômeno: a revolução da longevidade, a queda das sociedades disciplinares e o surgimento de uma juventude violenta com amplo exercício de crueldade. |
| Abstract: | This article is dedicated to reflecting on the prolongation of adolescence, or extended adolescence. For this, we begin with a research on the emergence of the cultural formation of adolescence from the eighteenth century onwards. Then, we briefly investigated adolescence and after that we entered the so-called extended adolescence, which is our research object and is worked on by us, from the point of view of some authors about possible factors that could be related to the prolongation of adolescence from a biopsychosocial perspective, in addition to also bringing some social factors that we consider may be related to this phenomenon: the longevity revolution, the fall of disciplinary societies and the emergence of a violent youth with ample exercise of cruelty. |
