| Summary: | Neste trabalho apresenta-se alguns conceitos e importantes teoremas da teoria de topologia. O principal objetivo é estudar a homologia simplicial e a característica de Euler, que são importantes invariantes topológicos. Como aplicação desses invariantes, pode-se identificar espaços não homeomorfos. Por fim, iremos relacionar a característica de Euler com a homologia simplicial, por meio da definição dos números de Betti. |
| Abstract: | In this work some concepts and important theorems of topology theory are presented. The main objective is to study simplicial homology and the Euler characteristic, which are important topological invariants. As an application of these invariants, one can identify non-homeomorphic spaces. Finally, we will relate the Euler characteristic to simplicial homology, through the definition of Betti numbers. |
