| Summary: | O presente trabalho relata os estudos da minha produção artística, que resultam numa série de retratos denominados Arcana: o Tarot como retrato simbólico na pintura. Trata-se de um conjunto seriado resultante em seis retratos e um autorretrato, feitos em óleo sobre papel com dimensões de 15cmx25cm, emoldurados em resina. Esta monografia apresenta um questionamento teórico sobre o projeto abordando a simbologia do Tarot e a sua representação pictórica de modo simbólico, a linguagem da pintura dentro da semiótica e ambos se encontram dentro da pintura. Ao longo da pesquisa são discutidos temas como a história do Tarot, ocultismo, semiótica, retrato e autorretrato. |
| Abstract: | This assignment describes the study of my artistic production which result in a series of portraits named Arcana: The Tarot as a symbolic portrait on painting. That’s about a series of six portraits and a self-portrait oil painted on paper sized 15cmx25cm and resin framed. This final paper presents the theoretical questioning about the project going over the Tarot's symbology and its pictorial representation in a symbolic way, the painting inside semiotics and how both painting and semiotics come together inside the painting. Themes like Tarot's history, occultism, semiotics, portraits, and self-portraits are addressed throughout the research |
