| Summary: | Este trabalho é uma investigação sobre a análise das ideias de espaço e de tempo presentes no Livro 1, Parte 2, do Tratado da Natureza Humana de David Hume. O ponto de partida dessa pesquisa se encontra em evidenciar como a experiência é fundamental na construção dessas ideias pela mente. Como muito se fala sobre sua origem, é preciso descobrir se elas aparecem como abstratas ao sujeito. Tendo isso em vista, apresentarei como Hume encontra a natureza dessas ideias na sensibilidade e na percepção sensível, sendo elas sua única fonte de origem. |
| Abstract: | This work is an investigation on the ideas of space and time presented in Book 1, Part 2 of David Hume’s A Treatise of Human Nature. The starting point of this research is to evince how fundamental is the experience of the ideas constructed by the mind. As much is being said about its origins, it is needed to discover if they appear as abstract to the subject. Having this in sight, I will present how Hume finds the nature of these ideas on sensibility and on sensible perception, being their only source of origin. |
