Contribuições para a formação: um relato de experiência sobre o estágio optativo

Abstract

This article is the result of the experience of the optional internship. The main objective of the work is the socialization of experiences from the professional practice and the promotion of discussions about the internship, besides presenting a theoretical reference that contributes to the debate in health. It analyzes the work developed in the optional internship field with Sexually Transmitted Infections-STI, based on the Parameters of Action of the Social Worker in Health Policies. The methodology used was bibliographic and exploratory research to deepen the report, in order to contextualize important points for the work. The activities developed during the internship consisted of the reception of patients, assistance to users, health promotion and prevention actions, articulation with the multiprofessional team, and participation in events. It is considered that the optional internship achieved results that contributed positively to the formation of the resident, increasing knowledge, reflections and important apprehensions of a new field of work.
