Ensino de cartográfica: analisando o uso de novas tecnologias na educação básica, na região do município de Senhor do Bonfim-BA

Abstract

The present work has as its theme the Teaching of Cartography, in which the use of New Technologies in Basic Education in the region of the municipality of Senhor do Bonfim will be analyzed. In this sense, the central problem of this research is highlighted, which consists in verifying the facilities and difficulties that teachers have when using New Technologies in the teaching of Cartography for the teaching and learning process of students of basic education in the city of Senhor do Bonfim - Bahia and Region. For that, the use follows the dialectical critical line, with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Therefore, to address these conceptions, a bibliographic survey was carried out in which some issues were observed, such as the use of technologies by educators to teach cartography, identifying the facilities and difficulties regarding the teaching-learning process of students. The methodological procedure used was the questionnaire, applied to twenty-six teachers from nine schools in the secondary education network, in the region of the municipality in question, which served as the basis for the development of the work. Finally, the results obtained with an advanced research that teachers use ICTs in Cartography classes, mainly through the computer, cell phone, internet and data show, believing that the uses of these resources help them in the preparation of their classes and in the classroom, but it is noteworthy that there are some impasses that hinder the use of these technologies. They are: low-frequency internet, and insufficient technological resources, such as computers and data shows, for the school's demand. These issues compromise the use and efficiency of the use of ICTs in the teaching of cartography.
