Memorial descritivo: das Gerais à Amazônia, de volta às Gerais

Abstract

The present Academic Memorial aims to meet the Resolutions Nº 3/2017 and SEI N° 05/2018 of the Board of Directors of the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU), which regulates the evaluation for the promotion to the E Class, with the title of Full Professor of the Federal Higher Education Career. Therefore, along the text I present the activities developed by me from the basic and academic formation, followed by my professional trajectory since my first job in the Geography Course at Faculdade de Educação Ciências e Letras de Iporá - FECLIP, going through the 15 years at the Geography Department of Universidade Federal do Amazonas - UFAM until the current moments at the Geography Institute of Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - IG/UFU. In each institution, I describe the activities dedicated to teaching, research, extension and management. In the last 15 years, I highlight my work in teaching, orientation, intellectual production, research and extension at the IG/UFU, which has provided me with a diversified academic production, with great experiences and exchanges with colleagues and students from the aforementioned University and other institutions with which partnerships have been established through projects, agreements and a network of researchers. In conclusion, I present a summary of the results of my academic production during my 30-year career in higher education.
