| Summary: | A pesquisa versa sobre como muitos temas que são publicados na mídia são resultado da influência da agência pública nas rotinas das redações. Em 2020, um caso de aborto envolvendo uma criança de 10 anos, tomou a agenda midiática após a repercussão do caso crescer nas redes sociais. Nesse contexto, o objeto de estudo é a BBC News Brasil e o Jornal Nexo, que tiveram construções de narrativas sobre o tema diferentes dos outros jornais. A BBC critica a repercussão do caso como algo inédito e traz dados alarmantes de condições semelhantes no Brasil, enquanto o Nexo traz uma linha do tempo explicativa sobre os fatos que evolvem o caso para o leitor desatualizado. O trabalho utilizou reflexões sobre os dados de aborto no Brasil e sua relação com a saúde pública, os estudos de Mc Combs e Hohlfeldt (1997) sobre Agenda Setting e a metodologia de análise de conteúdo (BARDIN, 2011) para compreender e analisar os efeitos do caso de aborto em uma criança de 10 anos brevemente na mídia como um todo e especificamente nos dois jornais analisados. |
| Abstract: | The research is about how many themes that are published in the media are the result of the influence of the public agency in the routines of newsrooms. In 2020, an abortion case involving a 10-year-old child took over the media agenda after the repercussions of the case grew on social networks. In this context, the object of study is BBC News Brasil and the newspaper Nexo, which had narrative constructions on the theme, different from other newspapers. The BBC criticizes the repercussion of the case as something unprecedented and brings alarming data of similar conditions in Brazil, while Nexo brings an explanatory timeline on the facts that evolve the case for the outdated reader.. The work used reflections on abortion data in Brazil and its relation to public health, the studies by MCCombs and Hoelfeldt (1997) on Agenda Setting and the content analysis methodology (BARDIN, 2011) to understand and analyze the effects of case of abortion in a 10-year-old child, briefly in the media as a whole and specifically in the two newspapers analyzed. |
