Casa Olegário - Coworking e Mini-cafeteria

Abstract

This final paper aims to understand and design the space of a shared office, better known as coworking, with a coffee shop, in the city of Monte Carmelo, state of Minas Gerais. With the study, I also intend to discuss and contribute to the dynamics that surround these spaces that, despite the crisis experienced at the beginning of the pandemic, have been waiting for the resumption of the growth of their activities in the pandemic / post-pandemic scenario, in which the planet is. Coworking has environments designed mainly for autonomous work, for the development of professional or social contacts, with people from different areas, with different types of needs. It has the structure to receive customers at a lower cost than while renting an exclusive commercial room, so there is a notable reduction in costs per hour worked in this model. All this success achieved in recent years by coworking spaces is the result of a simple concept: independent professionals looking for a democratic and shared space where they can develop their projects without the isolation of the home office or the distractions of public spaces and which now intends to offer security so that activities are performed in the best possible way in face of adversities caused by the New Coronavirus.
