Violência doméstica durante a pandemia do novo corona vírus: revisão integrativa

Abstract

The present work refers to an integrative review (IR), which is an Evidence-Based Practice (EBP), structured in five stages of identification of the theme, the establishment of exclusion criteria, extraction of studies, evaluation of included articles and interpretation of results, seeking to answer the following guiding question “Has domestic violence during social isolation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic caused by the new Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) increased according to this integrative review?”. Data collection was performed in the LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences), SCIELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) and PUBMED (US National Library of Medicine) databases. The inclusion criteria were: scientific research and studies, published in 2020, in Portuguese, Spanish and English. 230 were found and after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, reading the title, abstract and the full article, the sample of this study consisted of 15 articles. After reading the studies, categories were inferred for better explanation and discussion of the topics covered, being: C1: Relationship between gender and violence; C2: Psychosocial factors related to domestic violence during the pandemic, and C3: Actions to prevent and confront domestic violence. With this IR it was possible to notice that domestic violence increased during the new Coronavirus pandemic and as a result of the psychosocial disorders caused by it.
