| Resumen: | RESUMO A obesidade é um problema mundial que acarreta diversas complicações, dentre elas pode-se mencionar: hipertensão, diabetes, trombose etc. Neste sentido faz se necessário um tratamento que seja eficaz e duradouro, como por exemplo, a cirurgia bariátrica. Assim, este estudo teve como objetivo, verificar o preenchimento do checklist para cirurgia segura em pacientes submetidos à cirurgia bariátrica no Hospital de Clínicas de Uberlândia HC-UFU. Foi realizado um estudo retrospectivo, epidemiológico desses pacientes submetido à cirurgia bariátrica ao período de 01 de janeiro de 2017 a 31 de dezembro de 2017, realizado no Hospital de Clínicas de Uberlândia – HC-UFU, através da revisão dos prontuários médicos, na quantidade de 65 amostras e através dos critérios de elegibilidade e excludentes foi realizada uma revisão observando o checklist da verificação da segurança do paciente. O preenchimento dos campos correspondentes ao: centro cirúrgico, a recepção no centro cirúrgico, nas verificações do que ocorre antes da indução anestésica, antes da incisão cirúrgica e antes do paciente sair as SO, o período peri-operátorio, as anotações de enfermagem, recuperação pós anestesia e o encaminhamento do paciente para a unidade de internação. O gênero feminino foi predominante em 80,0% e a faixa etária de 40-49 anos (90,9%), conferência no momento pré-operatório mediato da internação (“sign in”) onde havia 26 itens para serem preenchidos e de acordo com 65 fichas analisadas o preenchimento foi apenas em 32,0%, a conferência do momento pré-operatório imediato na recepção no Centro Cirúrgico antes da inferência anestésica (“sign in”) o preenchimentos obteve 8,3%, conferência antes da inferência anestésica (“sign in”) no momento Transoperatório com preenchimento tiveram 20,8%, conferência antes da incisão na pele (“time out”) no momento Intra-operatório total de preenchidos em 52,5%, conferência antes do paciente sair da sala cirúrgica (“sign out”) no pós-operatório imediato o total preenchidos foi 42,7%. Concluiu-se que os profissionais do setor não realizam os preenchimentos da lista de verificação de cirurgia segura corretamente, deixando muitos itens em branco. Necessita de um trabalho de conscientização para o hospital no intuito de mostrar a importância dos quesitos da segurança do paciente. |
| Abstract: | Obesity is a worldwide problem that causes several complications, among them, hypertension, diabetes, thrombosis, etc. In this sense, treatment that is effective and lasting, such as bariatric surgery, is necessary. Thus, this study aimed to verify the completion of the checklist for safe surgery in patients undergoing bariatric surgery at the Hospital de Clínicas de Uberlândia HC-UFU.
