| Summary: | O presente trabalho apresenta um estudo de caso sobre harmônicos em uma planta industrial. Uma explicação sobre o tema é fornecida, ressaltando sua importância para o panorama atual, considerando as principais cargas na moderni-dade e o impacto desse problema para cenário da indústria em questão. A metodo-logia proposta baseia-se em medições realizadas por um analisador de energia, que em conjunto com as informações técnicas disponíveis sobre a instalação elétrica, permitirá que se gere um diagnóstico do problema. Por meio de simulações foi pos-sível mensurar o efeito de uma alimentação como a encontrada na instalação em motores elétricos semelhantes aos encontrados no sistema industrial em estudo. |
| Abstract: | This paper presents a case study about harmonics in an industrial facility. An explanation about the theme is made, emphasizing its importance to the current panorama, considering the main loads in a modern net and the impact of this prob-lem for the industrial consumer. The methodology applied consists of harmonic measurements by an energy analyzer combined with the existing technical infor-mation about the power system to generate a diagnostic regarding the problem. Through computer simulations, the effect of a voltage source with similar harmonic distortion characteristics its measured in electrical motors similar to those found in the industrial facility studied. |
