| Summary: | Devido ao grande aumento da demanda por energia elétrica atrelado às preocupações ambientais, surgiu a necessidade de buscar fontes renováveis de energia. No Brasil, a energia eólica se consolidou nessa perspectiva, de atendimento à demanda e de fornecer um recurso limpo e renovável. Os parques eólicos offshore se apresentam como uma alternativa aos parques eólicos onshore. Apesar de possuir um grande potencial de geração de energia elétrica em alto mar, o Brasil ainda não possui nenhuma central eólica instalada no mar. No entanto, já é previsto a inserção de energia eólica offshore na matriz energética brasileira. A PETROBRAS anunciou os primeiros investimentos no setor e pretende instalar a primeira planta piloto eólica offshore no litoral do Rio Grande do Norte. Nesse contexto, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as perspectivas de geração de energia eólica offshore no Brasil e sua tecnologia. |
| Abstract: | Due to the large increase in the demand for electric energy tied to environmental concerns, the need to search for renewable energy sources arose. In Brazil, wind energy was consolidated from this perspective, of meeting the demand and providing a clean and renewable resource. Offshore wind farms present themselves as an alternative to onshore wind farms. Although it has a great potential for generating electric power in the high seas, Brazil does not yet have any wind power plant installed in the sea. However, the insertion of offshore wind energy into the Brazilian energy matrix is already foreseen. PETROBRAS announced the first investments in the sector and intends to install the first offshore wind pilot plant on the coast of Rio Grande do Norte. In this context, this work aims to analyze the perspectives of offshore wind generation in Brazil and its technology. |
