Os reajustes tarifários na viabilidade econômica e financeira da geração distribuída fotovoltaica

Abstract

The cost of electricity in Brazil has been increasing in the last six years. Brazilians are now looking for a new way to reduce these costs through distributed generation: renewable energy generation by consumers (or prosumers) themselves through Normative Resolution No. 482/2012 of the National Electric Energy Agency. In addition, photovoltaic technology has grown in number of connections since 2012 and its main user are residential consumer units. The objective of this study was to analyze the economic and financial viability of investments in distributed photovoltaic systems, analyzing the tariff readjustment in the period of the last six years. In order to achieve the objective, the investment analysis was carried out considering the costs and the tariffs of each year. The results showed that even in 2012, with the cost of investment doubled in 2018, the venture was viable and the tariff adjustment during the period also significantly impacts the payback.
