| Summary: | Análises de custos de produção tem grande importância na suinocultura, pois demonstram o nível tecnológico e a eficiência dessa atividade. Com o presente estudo objetivou-se analisar os custos médios praticados pelas unidades de terminação de suínos no município de Uberlândia- MG e, por meio do cálculo de medidas e índices de resultado econômico, avaliar o desempenho da atividade no ano de 2017. Para análise dos custos, os mesmos foram divididos em fixos e variáveis, que por sua vez foram subdivididos em operacionais e alternativos. As medidas de resultado calculadas foram a receita, margem bruta, margem líquida e lucro. Já os índices calculados foram a lucratividade, a rentabilidade e a capacidade de investimento. A atividade proporcionou uma margem líquida positiva, ou seja, cobriu todos os desembolsos necessários à produção e as depreciações, porém não apresentou lucro, remunerando apenas uma parte do capital aplicado. |
| Abstract: | Analysis of production costs has great importance in swine production, since they demonstrate the technological level and the efficiency of this activity. The present study aimed to analyze the average costs practiced by pig finishing units in the city of Uberlândia-MG and, through the calculation of measures and indexes of economic results, to evaluate the performance of the activity in the 2017. For analysis of the costs, they were also divided into fixed and variable costs, which in turn were subdivided into operational and alternative costs. The calculated results were revenue, gross margin, net margin and profit, and the calculated indices were profitability, profitability and investment capacity. The activity provided a positive net margin, that is, it covered all disbursements required for production and depreciation, but did not make a profit, paying only part of the capital invested. |
